Terms of Service

Effective 21 October 2026

These terms apply when you use the Houselight website or mobile app. By signing in you agree to them.

Your account

Houselight is provided to hospitality businesses ("your employer"). Accounts are created or approved by your employer, who decides your role and what you can see. Your employer can change or remove your access at any time, including when you stop working there.

Using Houselight

Your content

You and your employer keep ownership of the messages, files and other content you add. You give us permission to store, process and display that content only so we can run Houselight. How we handle personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy.

AI features

Some features use AI to summarise, suggest or draft. AI output can be wrong or incomplete, so check it before you rely on it or send it to anyone.

Availability and liability

We work to keep Houselight available and secure, but we provide it "as is" and do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Do not rely on it as the only channel for emergencies or safety-critical instructions.

Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded. Otherwise, to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our liability for any claim is limited to resupplying the service.

Ending your use

You can stop using Houselight at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other users at risk.

Changes, law and contact

We may update these terms and will post changes here with a new effective date. These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Questions: privacy@houselight.app.
